FLASH: 'When Will Atiku Report Himself to Trump?' — Presidency Fires Explosive Salvo at Atiku

STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT WHEN WILL ATIKU ABUBAKAR REPORT HIMSELF TO PRESIDENT TRUMP? Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s relentless desire to become President of Nigeria has regrettably closed his eyes to the virtues of statesmanship, decorum, and propriety expected of an elder statesman. Instead of embracing the dignity and maturity that come with his standing, he continues to diminish himself through reckless public statements and desperate political manoeuvres. It is baffling and disappointing that someone who has sought the presidency for over three decades now resorts to reporting the President of Nigeria to US President Donald Trump and members of the US Congress. In his latest act, Atiku Abubakar’s lobbying group in the US has submitted petitions to President Trump and the US State Department regarding a civil forfeiture case from 1993—a matter long settled, with no criminal conviction or finding of guilt. This issue was resolved over 30 years ago in the United ...

Khamenei Dares Trump - Resume War, We'll Respond Decisively

Iranian Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has dared President Donald Trump of the United States, U.S. in an official strong statement to the White House, Washington DC.     Khamenei ridiculed trump that his call for negotiation was intended to give him time to replenish the U.S. ships and weapons after exhausting their air defense stocks. He stated that Iran has no cause for concern.  Mojtaba Khamenei threatened: "should the war resume, we will respond decisively.  "We will wait for your actions, and then, strike Tel Aviv with full force, ensuring that no energy infrastructure remains operational." the Iranian Sup...

Trump issues first vetoes of his second term

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump used his veto power this week for the first time since returning to the White House,  rejecting two bipartisan bills  that passed unanimously in the House and Senate.  The White House  announced Tuesday night that Trump vetoed the bills on Monday. One of the bills involved funding for a  major drinking water project in Colorado  and the other was designed to give a Native American tribe more control over a portion of the Everglades.  Both bills passed the House and Senate through voice votes. Both houses of Congress would need to pass the bills again by a two-thirds margin to override the president's veto. It's not yet known whether the Republican-controlled House and Senate will try to override Trump's veto.  Over the past 25 years, it's been  fairly rare for the president to exercise his veto power . Trump vetoed just 10 bills in his first term and former President Joe Biden used t...
