NDLEA INTERCEPTS MULTI-BILLION-NAIRA SHIPMENTS IN LAGOS



Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted multi-billion-naira shipments of Methamphetamine and Loud at the Tincan Island seaport in Lagos.

The huge consignment of hard drugs concealed in automobile spare parts imported from Canada was intercepted by the NDLEA after months of intelligence- tracking across three continents.

Spokesman of the agency, Femi Babafemi further disclosed that three businessmen were linked to another consignment of opiods valued at N4.4 billion intercepted in Lagos.

He added that two of the businessmen, Nwanolue Emeka and Friday Ogbe have been arrested.
