OHCSF Expresses Concern Over Abduction omOf Civil Servants In Kabba, Kogi State



The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has expressed deep concern and sadness over the abduction of some civil servants around Kabba, Kogi State, while travelling to Abuja to participate in the ongoing Computer-Based Test (CBT) promotion examinations conducted by the Federal Civil Service Commission.

In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Eno Olotu, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Didi Esther Walson-Jack, on behalf of the entire Federal Civil Service and the wider Public Service family, expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the abducted officers, their families, and their colleagues across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The HCSF expressed confidence in the ability of the security agencies to ensure the swift and safe rescue of the abducted civil servants, while urging all civil servants and members of the public to remain calm and vigilant.

Walson-Jack reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Federal Civil Service to the welfare, safety, and well-being of its workforce, stating that the thoughts and prayers of the Service are with the affected officers and their families during this difficult time.

She added that the Service stands united as one family — in faith, hope, and solidarity — praying earnestly for the safe and speedy return of their colleagues, whose safety and well-being remain the Service’s utmost priority.
