Why I Rebranded Ona-Ara LG Party Bus — Dr. OTOPE

A loyal Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde, following the successful rebranding of the Ona-Ara Local Government Party Bus.

Speaking with Top Tori News on Friday about the development, Dr. OTOPE explained that the rebranding was done out of love for the PDP and in continuation of Governor Makinde’s vision of orderliness, maintenance culture, and grassroots visibility.

“These buses were first provided by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, to all the thirty-three (33) Local Governments during the 2023 campaign, and it is our duty as loyal party members to maintain them. The colour had worn out, and since our party needs to be more visible across communities, I decided to rebrand the bus in the spirit of continuity and loyalty,” he said.

Dr. OTOPE noted that the gesture symbolises his personal commitment to promoting the image of the PDP, encouraging unity, and ensuring that the good works of Governor Makinde remain evident at the grassroots level.

“As our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), prepares for the forthcoming congress, it is important we rebrand all our party buses to reflect our unity and readiness. I urge other Local Governments to follow suit in the spirit of loyalty, maintenance culture, and continuity under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde..

“Governor Seyi Makinde has laid a strong foundation for our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Rebranding the Ona-Ara Party Bus is my little way of supporting that vision, and we must all play our parts to preserve and project his enduring legacy,” Dr. OTOPE added.
The newly rebranded bus now proudly bears the PDP colours and insignia — a reflection of renewed commitment, discipline, and unity among party loyalists in Ona-Ara Local Government.
