ISAAC FAYOSE RAISES TOUGH QUESTIONS: Why Was General Rabe’s Body Released but Not That of Slain Oyo Teacher?
A fresh wave of controversy has erupted following reports that the remains of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar were allegedly released by the bandits who had held him captive before his death.
Reacting to the development, social commentator Isaac Fayose took to his Facebook page with a series of pointed questions that have sparked heated debate online. Fayose questioned how the bandits, who reportedly refused to release the retired military officer while he was alive, were suddenly willing to release his body after his death.
According to Fayose, one of the biggest mysteries is who exactly received the body from the bandits and under what circumstances the handover took place. He argued that the development raises important questions that deserve answers from both authorities and the family.
Fayose also drew attention to the case of an Oyo State teacher who was reportedly killed by kidnappers. He questioned why the teacher's body was allegedly never released to the family for burial, while General Rabe's remains were reportedly returned.
The social commentator further expressed skepticism over reports that the retired general died from complications related to diabetes and hypertension. He asked who conducted the medical examination and whether an autopsy was performed to officially determine the cause of death.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions across social media, with some Nigerians demanding greater transparency about the circumstances surrounding the retired general's death, while others urged caution against speculation until more official details emerge.
