PRESIDENT TINUBU SALUTES PASTOR KUMUYI AT 85 
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu warmly rejoices with Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, a remarkable servant of God, a visionary founder, and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, as he clocks 85 on June 6, 2026.  

President Tinubu remarks that Pastor Kumuyi’s enduring legacy of unwavering faith, wisdom, and dedication has shaped a thriving ministry for over 50 years.  

“As the convener of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), your voice has reached beyond the church walls and national borders, bringing hope and encouragement to millions across the world. 

“Your writings have illuminated minds, inspired hearts, and provided timeless guidance to those seeking truth and purpose," the President remarks. 

President Tinubu notes that Pastor Kumuyi’s ministry and influence have also transformed lives, restored families, inspired leaders, and strengthened the faith of generations of believers. 

“On this special day, I pray that Almighty God continues to grant you strength, divine health, peace, and abundant grace,” the President says.

The Nigerian Army has officially commenced applications for its Short Service Combatant Commission (SSC) Course 49/2026, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply and serve as commissioned officers . The recruitment, which began on October 9, 2025, will close on November 12, 2025, and is open to both serving military personnel and eligible civilians who meet the required qualifications. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, aged between 23 and 27 years as of January 9, 2026.
