As the political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections continues to gather significant momentum across Oyo State, the TEAM ARAPAJA Ona-Ara Chapter has intensified efforts to consolidate grassroots support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) through the announcement of a grand physical endorsement meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, 2026. 

Spearheaded by Hon. Oduola Olumide Sunday, popularly known as ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA, the strategic gathering is expected to bring together party leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, women, and supporters in a powerful demonstration of loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC. The event is also designed to strengthen party unity, reinforce the Renewed Hope Agenda, and signal the readiness of the APC's grassroots structure in Ona-Ara ahead of the decisive 2027 elections.

The endorsement gathering is aimed at reaffirming the commitment of party faithful and grassroots supporters to the Renewed Hope Agenda while mobilizing massive support for the APC at all levels. The meeting will also serve as a platform to unite members behind the party's vision for sustained development, inclusive governance, and progressive leadership
At the meeting, participants will formally endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli for Governor of Oyo State, Senator Yunus Akintunde for re-election to represent Oyo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Akin Alabi for Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, and Hon. Funmi Obisesan for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ona-Ara State Constituency.

According to Hon. Oduola Olumide (ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA), the gathering goes beyond a ceremonial endorsement, describing it as a bold declaration of confidence in the APC's leadership and an affirmation of the party's commitment to delivering sustainable development and good governance. He called on all progressives in Ona-Ara Local Government to remain united, committed, and actively involved in the collective mission of securing victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
He further appealed to party members, supporters, youth groups, women, traditional and community leaders, and other stakeholders across Ona-Ara to attend the historic event in large numbers, emphasizing that their participation would further strengthen the party's grassroots network and demonstrate the growing popularity of the APC within the local government.

Hon. Oduola Olumide stressed that the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda depends on the collective resolve and active participation of every progressive. He described the July 29 endorsement meeting as more than a political event, but a strategic platform to showcase the unity, strength, and electoral preparedness of the APC in Ona-Ara and Oyo State at large. 
Expressing confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party's candidates, ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA maintained that the overwhelming support of the grassroots would translate into another historic electoral victory for the APC in 2027, further advancing the administration's vision of economic prosperity, sustainable development, and enduring progressive governance.
