Video: Why I Left My Role as Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde — BASA Opens Up

Hon. Bolanle Aminat Sarumi-Aliyu (BASA) has reflected on her political journey and her working relationship with Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

BASA, who once served as Special Assistant to the Governor on Diaspora Matters, disclosed that she resigned from the position to pursue her ambition for a seat in the House of Representatives.

According to her, Governor Makinde had earlier assured her of his support for the aspiration, but when the crucial moment came, he failed to stand by his promise.
