BREAKING: Police Demotes Officer for Illegal VIP Escort



The Nigeria Police Force has demoted Corporal Suleiman Musa to the rank of Constable for violating a standing directive on unauthorized VIP escort duties.

Musa, with service number F/No: 517077 and attached to 45 PMF, was found guilty of escorting a VIP last week without approval from the Force authorities. His action reportedly contravened clear instructions issued by the Inspector-General of Police and reinforced by the Presidency.

Following an internal review, the officer was immediately reduced in rank as punishment for what the Force described as a serious act of indiscipline and disobedience to lawful orders.
