2027 Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Rep: Oniladuntan, Other Traditional Rulers Insist It’s Ona-Ara’s Turn, Endorse OTOPE

In a show of unity and political clarity, traditional rulers of Ona-Ara Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind Dr. Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, as the preferred candidate for the 2027 Federal House of Representatives election in the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency.

The announcement was made earlier today, January 17, 2026, as HRH Oba Kamorudeen Adebowale JP, the Oniladuntan of Laduntan, led other respected monarchs across Ona-Ara to publicly endorse OTOPE.

Speaking on behalf of the royal fathers, they emphasised that the principles of fairness, equity, and inclusive representation demand that “It is Ona-Ara’s turn” to occupy the Federal House seat. They described OTOPE as a seasoned grassroots leader, philanthropist, and a unifying figure whose proven record of service aligns with the aspirations of the people.

The monarchs further highlighted that Egbeda has held the Federal Representative seat for successive terms, stressing that 2027 should mark a shift to Ona-Ara. They called on all stakeholders within the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency to rally behind OTOPE, assuring him of their prayers, royal backing, and active mobilisation ahead of the polls.

This endorsement signals a significant traditional institution backing, reinforcing OTOPE’s position as a leading candidate for the constituency’s representation at the National Assembly.
