CCII Set to Honours OTOPE Foundation President, Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, for Impact with ICON of Ibadan Heritage Award
There is growing excitement across Ibadanland as the Central Council of Ibadan (CCII) announces its decision to confer the prestigious ICON of Ibadan Heritage Award on renowned philanthropist and humanitarian leader, Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community development and human empowerment.
Hon. (Dr.) Oladimeji, the President of the OTOPE Foundation, has distinguished himself through people-centred initiatives that have positively impacted lives across Egbeda–Ona Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo State at large. His humanitarian interventions—spanning education support, health outreach, youth empowerment, and community infrastructure—have earned him widespread admiration and trust among the grassroots.
The ICON of IBADAN HERITAGE AWARD reflects CCII’s acknowledgement of individuals whose selfless service, cultural pride, and commitment to societal progress continue to uphold the dignity and values of Ibadanland. Dr. Oladimeji’s consistent dedication to uplifting the less privileged and strengthening communal bonds aligns with these noble ideals.
The award presentation will take place as part of Ibadan Cultural Festival 2026, scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Rockbound Events Center, Oke-Eleshin, Amuloko Area, Ona-Ara Local Government, Ibadan. The event is expected to commence at 11:00 a.m. and will be held under the leadership of the CCII President-General, Chief Barr. Suleiman Ajeniyi Ajewole.
The ceremony is expected to attract Ibadan indigenes from within and outside Nigeria, traditional leaders, community stakeholders, political figures, civil society actors, and supporters of Hon. (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji from across the globe, all coming together to celebrate a man whose life and service embody compassion, leadership, and cultural pride.
