Ona-Ara Set to Host Tech Summit 2026, Focused on Technology and Sustainable Development

Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State is set to take a bold step into the future with the hosting of the Ona-Ara Tech Summit 2026, a technology-driven conference aimed at promoting innovation, digital skills, and sustainable development within the community.
The summit, themed “Tech: A Sustainable Development System,” is scheduled to hold on March 28, 2026, at the Philomath Arena, Amuloko, Ibadan.

According to the organisers, the event is designed to bring together technology experts, entrepreneurs, innovators, students, community leaders, and policymakers to explore how technology can be effectively leveraged to drive economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development at the grassroots level.

Speaking on the initiative, the organisers noted that the summit aligns with global trends where digital innovation plays a critical role in addressing development challenges, particularly in education, business, governance, and environmental sustainability.

The Ona-Ara Tech Summit 2026 will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, with a strong focus on practical solutions and real-life applications of technology.
