Hon. Oduola Olumide Sunday (ALAYÀKÍ) has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Executive Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The declaration, held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Ward 9, drew a large crowd of party leaders, stakeholders, youth, and women, reflecting his strong grassroots support.
Speaking at the event, ALAYÀKÍ described his ambition as a call to service and pledged to deliver people-oriented leadership.

“This is about our collective future. I am ready to serve and ensure the dividends of democracy reach every part of Ona-Ara,” he said.

He promised inclusive governance, assuring that all communities and groups would be carried along, while highlighting key priorities such as healthcare, rural infrastructure, youth empowerment, and agricultural development.
