US REAFFIRMS STRONG PARTNERSHIP WITH NIGERIA ACROSS KEY SECTORS

The United States Mission has reaffirmed its commitment to a robust partnership with Nigeria, emphasizing ongoing cooperation in security, trade, health, education, and cultural exchange.
In a statement shared Monday, the Mission highlighted the enduring ties between both countries, noting that strong people-to-people connections continue to drive shared prosperity and development.

It stressed the importance of sustained collaboration in tackling regional and global challenges, particularly in security and economic growth. The relationship, it added, goes beyond government engagement, encompassing citizens, institutions, and private sector actors.
According to the Mission, these partnerships play a vital role in promoting stability, expanding economic opportunities, and improving social outcomes in both nations.

The reaffirmation comes amid continued joint efforts in counterterrorism, trade facilitation, educational exchanges, and public health, with officials describing the relationship as a cornerstone of US–Nigeria engagement in Africa and beyond.
