The political atmosphere in Ona-Ara Local Government received a major boost as a frontline grassroots politician and respected community leader, Hon. ODUOLA OLUMIDE SUNDAY popularly known as ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA, officially obtained the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to contest for the position of Member, Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ona-Ara State Constituency in the forthcoming 2027 General Election.

Hon. ALAYÀKÍ’s decision to formally join the race has continued to attract widespread commendations from party faithful, youths, women groups, artisans, market leaders, and stakeholders across Ona-Ara Constituency who described him as a symbol of hope, capacity, and people-oriented leadership.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to quality representation, impactful legislation, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, educational advancement, and improved welfare for the people of Ona-Ara.

According to him:

“This aspiration is not about personal ambition alone; it is a collective movement aimed at giving our people the quality representation they truly deserve. Ona-Ara deserves purposeful leadership, accessible representation, and effective legislative service that will attract meaningful development to our constituency.”

He further appreciated leaders and members of the PDP for their continuous encouragement, support, and belief in his vision for a greater Ona-Ara.
