APPRECIATION MESSAGE ON MY APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRMAN, SAMUEL LADOKE AKINTOLA AIRPORT UPGRADE COMMITTEE

All praise and gratitude belong to Almighty God for His grace and for counting me worthy to serve.

I express my profound appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for appointing me Chairman of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee. This is not just a personal recognition but a call to contribute meaningfully to our state's infrastructural and economic progress. His Excellency's commitment to empowering people to serve is truly commendable, and I pray for the wisdom and integrity to discharge this duty well.

My sincere thanks go to our party leadership, the wonderful people of Ona-Ara Local Government, the steadfast members of Team Ife Ona-Ara, and all my family, friends, associates, traditional and religious leaders, and well-wishers across Oyo State. Your prayers, encouragement, and outpouring of goodwill humble me deeply and strengthen my resolve to serve with honour and excellence.

As I assume this responsibility, I earnestly solicit your continued prayers and constructive support. Together, by God's grace, we will contribute to a successful airport upgrade that positions Oyo State as a stronger hub for investment and sustainable development. The Nigerian Army has officially commenced applications for its Short Service Combatant Commission (SSC) Course 49/2026, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply and serve as commissioned officers .
