Remi Tinubu Harvests Vegetables From Presidential Villa Garden, Shares Produce With Staff
The villa garden set up about two years ago by the Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu to promote food security in the country through a national competition, #EveryHomeAGarden#, the vegetable garden in the State House is still active with bountiful yields.

The First Lady, after a routine visit to the garden for another round of harvest, reiterates her call on Nigerians to embrace ongoing efforts aimed at promoting food security in the country by cultivating and sustaining interest in home gardening.

Parading her bountiful yield for the day, including lush green spinach, water leaf and fluted pumpkin, the First Lady says keeping a home garden is a smart way of living a healthy life at a cheap cost.

Apart from ensuring food security, home gardening, she notes, will also support efforts at addressing climate change.

Sharing some of the harvest for the day with her staff, the First Lady reminded Nigerians to always show compassion to others by giving.
