Egbeda/Ona-Ara 2027: ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA Leads Team Arapaja to Meet Akin Alabi, Pledges Support for Reelection

As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Ona-Ara Chapter of Team Arapaja, led by Hon. Oduola Olumide Sunday, popularly known as ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA, on Monday held a strategic meeting with the Honourable Member representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Akin Alabi, in Abuja. The meeting focused on strengthening political relationships and mobilising support ahead of the 2027 elections.

The engagement centred on the group's endorsement and expressed support for Hon. Akin Alabi's continued representation of the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency. Team Arapaja is associated with former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, who is the 2027 Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but recently moved to All Progressives Congress (APC), a development that has further shaped political realignments ahead of 2027.
Led by ALAYÀKÍ ONA-ARA, members of the group turned out in significant numbers to meet with Hon. Akin Alabi and demonstrate their solidarity. The delegation reaffirmed its commitment to working with relevant stakeholders to strengthen the APC's grassroots structure and promote unity and effective representation within the constituency.
